  1. PACKAGE PRICE – BEFORE A RESERVATION IS PAID

All prices are expressed in US dollars. Prices for vacation packages are subject to change without notice. Prices are dynamic in nature, subject to availability, and subject to fluctuations in currency exchange rates.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the dates, times, payment due dates, and cancellation policy for reservations made on their behalf by Travel with Brandie. All information mentioned can be found within the confirmation of booking sent to you by Travel with Brandie. Please review these details carefully.

Independent Contractors with Travel with Brandie operate as advisors to clients, it is up to the passengers to ensure that all legal requirements are met, which may or may not affect the ability of the passengers to travel.

  1. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND TRAVEL PERMIT(S)

All travel documents are the responsibility of the passenger. A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity after the date of travel is required. You are responsible for checking with the appropriate consulates and respective authorities as visas and/or vaccinations may be required. Note that our agents cannot be expected to know all the documentation requirements for your trip. No refunds will be entertained for passengers who cannot embark on an aircraft due to incomplete documentation such as lack of passports or visas or affidavits for minors traveling alone or with only one parent. Keep in mind that entry requirements may vary for US citizens and non-US citizens. Airport departure and entry fees/taxes are not always included in the airline ticket. This may be required to be paid at your visiting destinations.

Airline tickets, tours, or other products are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed after the date of purchase. Post-purchase price increases may be applied due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government. If traveling internationally, you must have a valid passport and, depending upon destination and nationality may need to obtain one or more visas.

Note to Client: Passport and visa information may be obtained by contacting the Travel Agent Section of the U.S. State Department at 202.647.5225 or by visiting the State Department’s Web site at travel.state.gov. Non-U.S. passport holders should be sure to contact the embassies of their destination and transit countries to obtain entrance requirements. To obtain medical information, you may contact the Centers for Disease Control at 404.332.4559 or visit the CDC’s Web site at www.cdc.gov

  1. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is highly recommended. Travel insurance is an optional / not-mandatory item. You are responsible for selecting to accept or decline the travel insurance at the time you purchase your package. Insurance can be purchased with the package and can be added up to within 10 days from the date you purchase your tour package. For more information on the insurance we provide through Travel Guard or Allianz please let us know. Travel protection is available for ALL trips. You realize that if you do not purchase travel insurance, your financial investment is not protected.

  1. PAYMENTS

Reservations can be made online with major credit cards. We do not accept prepaid cards, hotel/airline rewards, or any other type of loyalty program. If a debit/check card is submitted we are not responsible for any bank overdraft fees or any other charges that might be charged by your bank. The fact that we allow clients to pay in parts is irrelevant to these terms and conditions. The obligation for the client to us is the whole amount of the booking at the time of booking regardless of how much of the booking has been paid to us. The lead traveler takes responsibility for all persons on the travel reservation. The cancellation policy applies to those who pay in parts as well, please see CANCELLATIONS.  Failure to submit payments by the original final payment date requires our agency to negotiate an extension with the vendor. If an extension is granted, a $25 per traveler extension fee will be added to your final payment. If the extension is denied, the reservation will result in an automatic non-refundable cancellation.

  1. TRAVEL VOUCHERS AND SHIPPING OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Most of our services are ticketless. Those vouchers are your proof of payment for vendors. You must print your vouchers and carry them with you during the trip to render services with the final provider (hotels, tour operators, car rental companies, etc). Travel vouchers are emailed to the e-mail address listed in your Credit Card form Authorization. Please use one email address only. Our vouchers will show the official issuer of services.

If paper documents are requested when e-documents are available, documents will be delivered via USPS approximately 14-21 days before departure, and a fee of $30 will apply. A complete street address is required (no PO boxes).

  1. CHILDREN

All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum age for children on most tours is 6 months. The minimum age for cruise tours is 6 months old and the child must sail in a cabin with an adult over the age of 25 years of age. Discounts for children sharing a room as a third person may apply to children under 12 at some resorts on Caribbean and Mexico Tours. Accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of their children including providing any necessary safety equipment (such as infant/child seats) where appropriate. Please note that many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abductions of children. If a person under the age of 18 years will be traveling with an adult other than his/her parents, or with only one parent, a notarized letter written by the parents, or non-traveling parent, granting authorization to travel, including the dates of travel should be carried.

  1. NAME CHANGES

Names on reservations must match the information included in your passport(s) or government document. You are responsible for providing us with your legal first and last names as they are shown on your passport or government document. Once your package is processed, name changes are NOT allowed. Vacation packages are not transferable. Airlines and other providers do not allow name changes on their tickets. You cannot change the name on an airline/train/hydrofoil/cruise/mini-package ticket or give the ticket to someone else to use. In the event you provide us with the wrong name(s) for your reservation, then you understand they are canceled.

  1. ADDITIONS:

Your reservation will incur a fee of $50 per each additional guest added to the itinerary after the initial booking is complete and is subject to availability.

  1. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

A cancellation is defined as the voluntary termination of an entire trip and is requested BEFORE the original travel date. You understand tour packages are completely non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a scheduled tour program within the package no refunds or partial refunds will be provided. If you check in to your hotel a day late due to unforeseen circumstances no partial refunds will be provided. If you miss a transfer due to unforeseen circumstances no partial refunds will be provided.  All cancellation requests are required to be submitted in writing to travel@brandiesyzdek.comYour reservation will incur a cancellation fee of $50 per person. This fee is in addition to any charges imposed by the vendor. If you cancel without purchasing travel protection, you will lose all payments made toward your reservation. If you purchased travel protection and need to cancel your reservation, you will receive a refund minus the travel protection cost & our agency cancellation fee; please allow 7-14 business days for processing. All cancellations after 5pm the day before your reservation must be initiated by you, the client, directly to the supplier. If you need to cancel after 5pm the day before your reservation, you are required to contact the supplier directly.

Should any individual within a group reservation opt to cancel, the supplier may reevaluate and adjust the package’s cost for the remaining participants based on the current rates. Consequently, the individual who cancels their portion might receive a refund less than the initial amount paid, as the price recalibration could impact the overall package cost.

If a change is requested and does not require a full cancellation, your reservation will incur a $50 change fee. This fee is in addition to any charges imposed by the supplier.

  1. HIGH SARGASSUM ADVISORY

It is expected that sargassum levels will be higher than usual. Sargassum is a free-floating seaweed that is especially prolific in the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico. While beneficial to ocean life, these large free-floating seaweed mats often wash up on beaches. The amount of seaweed on the beaches fluctuates based on the time of year and ocean currents. While resorts do their best to maintain the beaches for their guests, you may experience some inconveniences during your stay.
